The national sport of Djibouti is football, or, as we know it soccer. The Djibouti National Football Team was officially part of FIFA in 1994.  They have never made a world cup, and have only ever participated in the African Cup of Nations

Djibouti has participated in every Summer Olympics from 1988-2004. However, they have only won one medal, in Seoul, South Korea, 1988. Houssein Ahmed Salah won a bronze in the men's marathon. It was quite the memorable year for Djibouti.
